Who We Are
Ndando University Institute is a dynamic higher education and professional training institution focused on health sciences, technology, and community development. Established as part of the broader mission of the African Empowerment and Development Association (AEDA), the institute was created to address critical gaps in education, healthcare, and workforce development across Cameroon.
Our programs are designed to go beyond traditional classroom learning, integrating hands-on training, mental health awareness, and community engagement into every student’s journey.
Our Story
Ndando University Institute was born from a powerful vision: to empower communities through education and mental health advocacy.
The institute builds on the work of AEDA, founded by Victor Elokan Ndando-Ngoo, a proud Cameroonian trained in the United States as a mental health professional, who returned to Cameroon to address pressing social and healthcare challenges. His experiences highlighted the urgent need for trained professionals in mental health, healthcare, and community services, leading to the creation of educational institutions that bridge this gap.
From its early vocational training programs to the development of modern health and education facilities, Ndando University Institute represents a growing commitment to accessible, practical, and impactful education.
